Matt joins Elhance as Head of Social Housing, Compliance & Building Safety Division, bringing more than two decades of experience across social housing, local government and the built environment.
Matt’s expertise spans building safety, compliance, asset management, fire safety and remediation. Having held senior roles at Nottingham City Council and Leeds City Council, he brings valuable client-side experience of the challenges facing housing providers, as well as a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements around building safety and resident safety.
At Elhance, Matt is focused on developing our social housing offer and supporting housing providers with practical approaches to compliance, building safety and regulatory assurance.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and exploring new places, and keeping up with developments across the housing and building safety sectors.
